This morning, I retrieved my phone from the mylar pouch which protects me from any nefarious actors draining my battery or emanating any kind of signals while I sleep; first off, I had received a shake alert.

May sound paranoid to some of my readers, but when you are Drake Davis--who had his student loan disbursement "lost" 3 semesters out of five at SFSU [no money for books rent food for up to 7-weeks.] Then, the administration trying to stop my graduation about a made-up missing class--I deduced a plan to destroy my come back was underway.

Makes one wonder about some of those meritless terminations from jobs after my congressional run for 1st District Oregon US House in 2006 as the Libertarian nominee.

Shaking was felt as far away as Sacramento, and some power outages were reported in Willits near the earthquake's epicenter. PG&E's map showed the outage starting at the same time the earthquake struck, with the utility provider saying 8,000 customers were impacted.

Indonesia’s Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysical Agency also recorded that at least 71 aftershocks continued throughout the day, raising concerns among residents shaken by memories of a devastating 2018 earthquake and tsunami in the region. The aftershocks prompted residents to flee buildings and gather in open areas.

Now this is pretty unprecedented in my lifetime; as a veteran of the 1971 Sylmar Quake in LA, the 1989 Loma Prieta Quake felt in SacTown, Oregon's 1993 Spring Break Quake, the 2001 Nisqually Earthquake while living in Hillsboro, OR, and a few minor recollections as a 4-year-old (?) in SF, and felling a shaker in Bridgeport, NV while doing my undergrad work at Columbia College, Sonora, CA in 2015, I have felt quite a few.

Did I leave out the one on a weekend shift in 1979 on the air at Top-40 1470 KXOA Sacramento centered around Concord/Livermore, CA?
