Welcome back critical thinkers,

Feeling like a yo-you, I have tried to avoid writing about the peace deal, lack of a peace deal, "Their Navy has been destroyed and their ability to fire missiles," or that the ceasefire is holding; then, Iran lobs missile at our ships from one of their remaining ships, fires missiles from shoreside, we fire back and take out those and other ships laying mines, BUT . . .

The Ceasefire is Holding and We are Close to A Deal

At this hour, Fox News is reporting the US and Iran have reached a tentative agreement on a 60-days end to the fighting.


I went ahead and posted the CNN link because it contains a synapsis on what has transpired with these strikes I referred to in the opening paragraph.

Scrolling through the CNN piece, I see Treasury Secretary, Scott Bessent, has reiterated Trump's threat on one of our previous allies, Oman:

 A day earlier, President Donald Trump threatened to “blow up” Oman should it try to control the strait with Iran.

“Oman will behave just like everybody else, or we’ll have to blow ‘em up,” Trump said at a White House Cabinet meeting Wednesday.

Not very presidential, but why are we not surprised.

Also contained in the piece is a 2:48m video report on how Iran is clearing the bombed-out entrances using backhoes and dump trucks. The video reveals unharmed missiles and mobile launchers buried deep below.
