Purposefully, I try not to give much attention to stories which rate high on my OJ-a-fication media meter.
What. . . never heard of Drake's OJ-a-fication scale?

In short, if a story involves only 2 or 3 people--one being a famous person or another being the victim or vice versa--and the story dominates the newscycle day-after-day, I tend to tune out. In the mid-1990s' for 1-and-a-half years, around the water heater talk was dominated by OJ.
