The federal government shutdown has now completed a third week, strange clemency order for disgraced former Congressman, George Santos, and Saturday's No Kings protest failing to produce much of any violence predicted by some on the Right.

After my initial reaction--upon being reminded of the extent of the crimes committed--the suspension of his prison time after three-months served seems to defy justification.

FBI Assistant Director in Charge Raia stated, “Today, former United States Congressman George Santos is held accountable for his repeated criminal dishonesty – financing his election campaign with ill-obtained funds, stealing COVID unemployment benefits, and providing materially false information in his financial disclosure. Santos abused his authority to garner illicit donations and campaign support; ultimately betraying the public’s trust and violating our democratic systems.  May today’s sentencing emphasize the FBI’s continued commitment to dismantling any fraudulent scheme designed to unlawfully benefit those in positions of power.”

Speaking of the now vindicated InfoWars media giant, normally, I try to distance CT&Reasoning from what--admittedly--is characterized as the far-right media outlet, Gateway Pundit; however, I am proud of I-Wars former reporter, Savanah Hernandez, who reported on the predominately white baby boomer make up of the Kings protest, and the violence she has been subjected to while covering protests over the years.

Jones' even claims the court wants to seize his likeness and ability to operate any website once parent company, Free Speech Systems, InfoWars studios, and platforms such as Banned.video are shutdown. Reading the story below, it would seem the court desires to shutdown any future intellectual content on alt-platforms such as Rumble, Telegraph, or established websites Jones' has planned to partner with. . . .how is this not a gross 1st amendment violation destined to head to the supreme court?
