Try as we may to steer clear of partisan or the Left vs Right paradigm, CT&Reasoning gets dragged-in under the auspices of Kimmel's firing being the top story; at this hour, radio and streaming pundits are speculating if the nags at The View will be next.

They returned from commercial to a discussion about RFK Jr and nothing about Kimmel or anything referring to what happened to Kimmel. There’s absolutely no way Whoopi or Joy would not have commented on the Kimmel suspension unless ABC forbade them.

A lot of troubling aspects to the president's actions--worse yet-- his troubling demands to have two other late night hosts removed if they ". . .turn against him."

"Great News for America: The ratings challenged Jimmy Kimmel Show is CANCELLED. Congratulations to ABC for finally having the courage to do what had to be done," Trump wrote. "Kimmel has ZERO talent, and worse ratings than even Colbert, if that’s possible. That leaves Jimmy and Seth, two total losers, on Fake News NBC. Their ratings are also horrible. Do it NBC!!! As a former broadcaster with about ten-years behind the mic--if counting a discotheque [1977-78] and Rollermania [1980-1981,] I do understand the FCC issue of "operating in the public interest."

However, I am a public figure with hundreds--and somedays--over a thousand visitors to this site; a longtime free speech advocate, I find this more than troubling.
