Frankly, our site tries to stay-out of the political fray of the Left/Right paradigm; obviously, the big story--besides the Putin Trump summit--has been the US House state redistricting efforts. 

Started in Texas and CA Governor Newsom doing anything to thrust himself onto the national stage to be a foil against Donald Trump, the whole idea is quite unusual and could lead to further destabilization or public trust in our current governance.

Sure all of you have had plenty of coverage on the redistricting efforts, and now six or seven states have also indicated their intention to do the same.

And before we move on, with California completely dysfunctional, the rampant crime, and lack of prosecutions, how on Earth would the rest of the country think they want Gavin Newsom to become president?

Stemming from the George Floyd, Black Lives Matter Riots, and Defund the Police movement started in 2020 [the time of the founding of CT&Reasoning,] our society is in what continues to be a pace of impending doom--hurling towards a collapse.

For those of you who are not Californians, it is a challenge to express the totality of the boarded-up and closed retailers, the incivility of people out in public--screaming psychotics--and the constant having one's head-on-a-swivel to avoid another racially motivated attack or erratic fenti-benti deciding they want your stuff.

Taking over sidewalks, insane drug addicts run us into the streets and, seemingly, most of these deranged people have vicious pit bulls--or befuddled starving dogs--tails between their legs with their owners passed-out in their own excrement. 

Sorry, but I needed to vent and--perhaps--I am one big earthquake or nuclear exchange from fleeing my ancestral homeland.

. . . then again, I am qualified to take over the on-camera news reporting slots of the toupee-wearing, lying, and still vaccine pushing, establishment local media.

Another Big Story has Been the Federalizing of the DC Police Force

Now, I do not know about you, but I feel there is something else going on here than cracking-down on crime. Does our Federal government fear a real uprising amongst the people and want to get troops trained for what is coming?

I am done for today and do not feel the nothingburger of the Russian/Trump summit in Alaska is worthy of much further coverage.

. . . was the summit more about avoiding a NATO vs Russia conflict?

KPIX 5: Clean Up of San Jose's Columbus Park has Begun

When you look at the sheer amount of trash and debris, not hard to imagine city officials estimate of weeks-long clean-up; personally, I consider people living in an RV as housed.

That said, if the RV does not run or has systems that do not work--at some point it becomes a nuisance.

Alright, that report was from yesterday; today, I have been following the story and the mayor has pledged motel beds with over a thousand more tiny homes set to come to completion at the beginning of 2026. 

Alright, just wanted to get this regional story out there because we will be hearing more about the sweep in the coming days.
