UNWARRENTED & DEVISIVE: HAGSETH ORDERS NAVY to STRIP GAY RIGHTS ICON HARVEY MILK FROM USN SHIP TRUMP INSTITUTES TRAVEL BANS Cali Highspeed Rail Bites the Bullet Feds to Pull Plug

Hello again everyone,
I will try to make it short, yet too much has transpired in the last day or two, critical thinkers,
We have this bizarre public social media feud between Trump and Musk; for me, I have to wonder if this is one of those Trump 4-D Chess, mind games to help restore Elon in the public's eye--distancing him from 45-47

I do not know, and our site is not about soup [that would be] soap opera hype and so-on.
I did want to weigh-in on the misguided attempt to rename the oiler [that has always seemed a bit funny] USNS Harvey Milk (T-AO-206).
Being a longtime San Franciscan and Sacramentan, Milk is a historical treasure, part of US History, and I do not understand going through the divisive renaming and the waste of money which such an order ensues.
Milk became one of the first openly gay elected officials in U.S. history during the 1970s, making him an icon of the nascent gay civil rights movement, and was killed while serving on the board of supervisors in San Francisco.
As a soldier who did basic training at Ft. Benning, GA over the Summer of 1981 [God it was hot and a different stinging insect for everyday,] I have not believed in all of this renaming or removal of many statues and military bases named after Confederate military personnel--the rewriting of history.
It Gets Worse:
Going After 1st Black SCOTUS Justice Marshall Tubman & John Lewis
CBS reported Tuesday that the Navy is also considering renaming other John Lewis-class oilers including the USNS Thurgood Marshall, USNS Ruth Bader Ginsburg, and USNS Harriet Tubman. Both Marshall and Ginsburg were Supreme Court justices, and Tubman was a Black abolitionist who helped slaves escape the South via the Underground Railroad.
Wrapping-up this subject, I know there are many opinions which span-the-spectrum, yet for me, I think we preserve history, learn from it, and not erase history for future generations.
My logic is: nearly half the country fought for the South and as a soldier it is understood the valor and heroism displayed--on both sides--should be enshrined.
Was the South shown to be wrong and rightfully defeated?
Absolutely

PS: A Lot of court decisions back-and-forth, immigrant arrests and deportation news, and I will try to catch everything up; frankly, the newscycle I enjoy and embrace is becoming exhausting!

Hey critical thinkers,
As everyone is focused on the feud between Trump vs Musk [pretty embarrassing] I see the train to nowhere may be dead prior to arrival--anywhere!
ZeroHedge: Federal Railroad Administration Says No Viable Path Forward
The state originally promised an 800-mile rail line connecting San Francisco and Los Angeles by 2020 for $33 billion. Estimates now range from $89 billion to $128 billion.
In a statement last month, CHSRA said construction is active on 119 miles in the Central Valley and has created more than 15,000 jobs. The agency also said it was making progress on a 171-mile segment from Merced to Bakersfield.
. . . and zero track has yet to be laid; so how did that train end up on 10th Street in the Sac?
