39th US PRESIDENT JIMMY CARTER DEAD AT 100
[DECEMBER 29, 2024 (14:45 PST)
It blows my mind to think that I was in Rio Americano High School during the Carter Presidency,
Of course, this moment is not about me; undoubtedly, Carter has always commandeered tremendous respect--largely even among those who differed with him on policy or from across-the-isle--due to his demonstrated character and post-presidency altruistic charity-driven endeavors.
Democrat presidential nominee Jimmy Carter raises hands with vice presidential nominee Walter Mondale (D) at the Democratic National Convention in New York City on July 15, 1976. Carter's wife, Rosalynn, and their daughter Amy, wave beside them.
As an aside, I would break with trying to be tasteful and channel Richard Nixon after his 1962 CA Gubernatorial loss in which he proclaimed, "You won't have Richard Nixon to kick-around anymore."
In other words, long proclaimed to be the worst president of the post-war era--or even 20th Century by some--President 46, Joe Biden, now wears that rusty crown thought long-ago discarded into The American River.

Alright, there is a lot of news coming-up this week, yet always rather conspiratorial. . .
What are the odds, Trump was informed of Carter's deathbed status and focused attention on the Panama Canal in the last few days?
Scholars have long thought, the turning-over of the US Canal Zone--resulting in the closure of the US Army Jungle School & troop pullout as Cuba began hosting Soviet troops--was considered Carter's worst policy decision alongside the 1980 failed Iranian hostage rescue.
I love history, the geo-political landscape, and once again thank visitors to CT&Reasoning.com for checking-in to get the latest news & my take on things.
