I hate Algebra but let's do some simple Arithmetic, shall we?
Take the 74-years between 1851 and 1925 and divide it by the 5 generations depicted in the Sac Bee article:

I have long contended as someone who lost my virginity in 1975 as a 14-year-old, teenagers who have been able to reproduce for numerous years are not children by the time they reach 16 or 17-years old; that said, people in their late 20's or thirty-somethings should not be doing teen-agers, okay?
However, this standard is highly illogical and the media continues to almost always leave-out the fact that the allegations regarding Matt Gaetz (R-FL) involve a minor residing in Alabama where the age-of-consent is 16 just like much of Europe--France 14-years-old.
