More Questions Than Answers: Things Are Not Adding Up

It is a new week and still less than 48 hours since the chaotic assassination attempt in Butler, PA.

Much of the discussion revolves around the time-lapse between when bystanders alerted police and over two-minutes which lapsed allowing the gunman to get off what is now thought to be five shots.

Some outlets are still saying up to eight shots.

I am going to just put up a lot of links starting with this odd coincidence or case of happenstance regarding one of the largest 3 real estate land and property owners. Blackrock, is thought to be behind driving-up homes prices--buying with cash--and turning them into rentals; in turn, this phenomenon is often cited to be the largest factor in squeezing-out first time home buyers.

So, we task the rural sheriffs department with this responsibility?  Here is a look at how close these buildings were!

If anything, please read the NY Post story for glaring mis-steps and foul-ups; for instance, no one visited and talked to the homeowners and the roofs should have had--if not secret service--police on them.

One of the outlets we are monitoring this morning is 560 KSFO in anticipation of the syndicated Dan Bongino show. Bongino was employed by the secret service for over a decade in both the GW Bush and Obama administration; obviously, he will have some inside baseball and may have been contacted by the service to be careful in discussing sensitive info; in the past, he has cautiously discussed his experiences of being on both the advanced team and guarding the first-family.

We have been hearing some leaks reported by Fox News and confirmed by the Armstrong & Getty which proceeds Bongino on 560 KSFO. They reiterated what is being reported:

According to Armstrong and Getty, secret service protection was afforded to Vance over the weekend judging by vehicles which have been reported to be in and around the senators residence.

Secret Service Rules of Engagement Protocols NOT Followed 

I know we are jumping around with what is--perhaps--the craziest newscycle in the history of CT& Reasoning.

1) Bongino speaks of rumors that the counter-sniper needed to have permission to fire. Of course not. For instance, if law enforcement rolls up on an armed person prepared to shoot someone, lethal force is the response.

2) Why was there a lack of arial surveillance when you can buy a 4G Drone from Amazon for $499.00

3) If the suspect was being watched as acting suspicious--reportedly they lost him--what was Trump doing being allowed to take to the stage

4) Not just one or two, but a cadre of secret service agents have told him over the last year that Trump does not have adequate protection 

5) Could not we afford to have infrared or FLIR technology on a helicopter? What about infrared       binoculars which is in they're inventory

 At this hour, Bongino says that no one is being held accountable and we need to see resignations.


Let me add, I have seen the security afforded to presidential visits and high profile events such as the pride parade here in San Francisco. You cannot believe the layers of protection with Harley-mounted SFPD, dirt bike mounted a dozen strong, ATVs, heavily-armed quick reaction forces in black Suburban's, drones, helicopters, squad cars, paddy wagons with cops armed with assault rifles mounted on the back and sides, snipers on roofs, etc.

What I have been hearing over and over is that Trump has not been afforded the required protection; apparently, this comes from the Biden administrations discretion.

Just like not giving RFK Jr. secret service protection.
