Upon awakening this morning, we learned Iranian forces had seized an Israeli owned cargo ship and towed it into Iranian waters (if media reports are accurate.)

Alright, I was looking for something to stream while I carried out various tasks when I hit a news site stating a drone attack was underway; immediately, I headed over to Drudge in order to get up some links for all of us to get-up-to-speed.

CNN has rolling posts every eight or ten minutes, so this is a good link to follow.
I am going to start reading the Drudge links and try to pin down when this all began and will be back as events unfold.

Alright, I am stuck in "Heading" instead of "Subheadings" which I use for my--well--Subtitles. After logging-out it should correct itself; obviously, I will be back with more including what will be commentary on our falling-flat local network affiliates.
In the old days, anchors & reporters would be getting calls to come in and augment what would have been an evening local newscast heavy with their network's feeds out of NY & Washington, military and defense analysts, & foreign policy experts continuing until--say 8:00 PM, right?
Epic-fail so far on KCBS AM 740/KFRC 106.9 FM; apparently, cannot or do not allow their repeaters to pivot and cover this huge breaking international story.
The broadcast comes across as pre-recorded from these people. Is there anyone at the editor's desk?
Maybe a program director calling in on what we used to call "The Hotline" to course-correct on-air talent?
. . . most likely on a weekend or an intern from SFSU's BECA program is at editors' desk & what about the PD Program director?

Well, it looks like to me--back deals--of diplomacy or cooler heads have prevailed.
Not a lot of damage, barely an Israeli counterstrike, almost all of these Iranian drones shot down.
I will watch the PBS Saturday Night Movie.
