What: New Polling Shows Steve Garvey (R) Neck & Neck in CA Senate Primary NOGO: T-Hoe

Remember a few posts back, when I thought Steve Garvey's bump in the polls from 17% to 23% may have been the result of heavy TV ad saturation showing the 3 Dem candidates from the debate stage aired on KRON 4 piling-on about the former LA Dodgers support of Donald Trump and how it could backfire?

At the time, I pontificated, Garvey's support may continue to rise as these unified Trump supporters would continue to become energized and that the ads needed to be pulled; oddly, the ad buy has continued.

. . .maybe due to contractual obligations?

Yet, this has been a complete disaster in a state which saw the last Republican Senator leave office--oh, let me think in 1991?

Surprisingly, Garvey now leads Congressman Adam Schiff (D-CA), by 2 points in the four-way primary race placing him within the margin-of-error if Garvey lands the second place initiating a runoff ranked voting place in the general.

That said, some polls show Garvey losing by a large margin to Schiff in the General Election

Alright, we do not focus on politics, elections, or what is going on with Trump and Biden, yet Trump's solid primary wins continue, the withering disappointment of Haley's attempts to undermine the front runner, and the replacement of the RNC Chairman, Ronna McDaniel, [I had no idea this was Mitt Romney's Granddaughter,] demonstrates the significance of recent court rulings or solidification Trump has over the party heading into Super Tuesday--indictments and all.
