I just ran across this lengthy story and was floored at the scope representing organized crime at the heart of retail theft.

We see the low-level bad actors all around us in San Francisco, but now we know it is only the tip-of-the-iceberg.

I will be back with more but was astonished by this story and wanted to get it posted for you.

Some obvious questions as I went through the piece:

If these folks have warehouses, forklifts, and pallets of stolen goods they sell online, how have they avoided being held accountable for by agencies such as the IRS?

Back at the keyboard,

According to many outlets, the house is set to pass the Tik Tok ban bill later today; meanwhile, there are a lot of people proclaiming this bill would give the president power to ban multiple news outlets under the guise of they were spreading misinformation.


A lot going on this morning, and I will try to seek further clarification of what is or is not in the bill; usually, the senate would add changes, so I am going to sit this out for now rather than post more articles and avoid the play-by-play.

Meanwhile, Gaza ceasefire protesters have shut down a road into SFO and are blocking entry to the international terminal with hundreds strong; after KRON 4 being the sole network affiliate offering coverage, several others have now gone live--police having not much of a response.

Another confusing development is this news cycle, is the narrowing of the house majority with Ken Buck (R-CO) not only forgoing a reelection bid, but now saying he will resign next week.

Conspiracy rumors of others to follow which would hand the gavel to a democrat majority which could lead to them not certifying the results if Trump wins (?)

. . . is that not what Trump is accused of?
