When it comes to electronic media, the once monetized on YouTube king-of-the hill, Alex Jones had to be banned when the floundering MSM could no longer compete; arguably, it was not so much the 2016 election, but somewhere around 2014/2015 that the web's offerings---news and commentary-wise---became the public's preference [at least here in the US]  pulling-away from Broadcast & Legacy Media for reliable information.

. . .Not to say, they still keep trying to call everyone a conspiracy theorist if you disagree with the mainstream's pontifications and propaganda regarding the agreed upon narrative.

Obviously, the timing of the Tucker/Jones summit a few days ago, timed to coincide with the release of political prisoner Owen Shroyer, and now Elon Musk reinstating Jones' Twitter account just prior to his Sunday transmission; arguably, all of the aforementioned, are masterful at getting attention, breaking through the pervasive censorship, and recapturing the spotlight as the dominant media, once again!
