As is our norm, we pay little attention to politics--avoiding the Left-Right Paradigm--except when Trump gets indicted or Biden tips-over, for example.

However, I was surprised how many elections took place on the state level in an odd-numbered-year, for instance.

So, I will post a few links from differing ideologies, a bit of the punditries take on the outcomes, and make a comment or two on last night's debate; specifically, what is being completely ignored in the MSM highlights [I did not watch live last night,] whereas, Vivek Ramaswamy slammed the mainstream media and asked why failed legacy outlets were even in the process of moderating instead of ". . .the GOP Debate which should be moderated by Tucker Carlson, Joe Rogan, and Elon Musk!"

Wow, all of the homeless camps on or near my block (s) are gone; presumably, moved into shelters in anticipation of APEC.

Called cops, but they were non-responsive--wanting me to get closer and give a full-description of the fenti-heads facial features, age, etc.

Rather than just have a squad car--always just blocks away in Midtown/Downtown SF--come cruise by.

Unfortunately, SFPD does not do much of anything. 

We rarely ever see anyone getting arrested or in the back of police cars--they just drive around or if on-the-beat, congregate around street corners--some starring into phones for the most part.

Locally, the situation on the ground has worsened--exponentially--in the last few months.

I do not know how such a beleagured police force and disfunctional DA will protect these dignitaries and world leaders; oddly, I witness littering like I never seen--even in the '60's--many throwing everything on the sidewalks.

Almost every bus stop and trolley platform has had the thick tempered glass--3 panels--certainly worth $1,000 + a piece, busted-out and no longer afforded to be replaced by San Francisco Metropolitan Transit Authority [SFMTA.]

Nor, the stops digital ads which the deranged drug addicts bust-up, nightly--frustrated by their poor chooses resulting in becoming a loser, never having achieved much of anything, and allowed to victimize all of the rest of us.

Knowing that property crimes are encouraged by the lack of enforcement--violent assaults and felony battery have creeped into being okay, also now no longer prosecuted if one is not in a protected class.

According to CBS News Sacramento, reports of 5 stabbings in the last 24 hrs.

I am concerned this APEC Summit will be marred by a terror or other attack due to the incompetence of city & county officials here in SF.
