Locally we are in Day-3 of the Asian Pacific Economic Cooperation [APEC] inter-governmental summit here in The Big Sh*tty; accordingly, we had one of the largest pro-Palestinian Demonstration and from what I saw it was a doozy!
If you like placards of four of the most prolific mass-murderers of the 20th Century, and purveyors of state-run terror--along with a smattering of red hammer & sickle imagery--Stalin, Trotsky, Mao, Fidel, where all well represented; personally, after a few minutes, I boarded a MUNI bus to be led on a confusing detour which was exasperated by the area around Moscone Center closed off for APEC.
For the Record: I am disgusted by the atrocities--on both sides--and am aligning with this sustained campaign by Israel having become a bridge-to-far and like most of us, see this as more than a quagmire; unfortunately, fears of this spiraling out of control to engulf all of the parties into a nuclear war are all too real.
