Now confirmed by Pentagon Spokesperson, Brigadier General Pat Ryder, who seemed to imply the ship was not under attack and the missile was on its way to somewhere in the Middle East.

“This action was a demonstration of the integrated air and missile defense architecture that we built in the Middle East and that we are prepared to utilize whenever necessary to protect our partners and our interest in this important region,” he said at a news briefing. “There were no casualties to US forces and none that we know of to any civilians on the ground.”

". . .protect our partners?"

You know President Biden has asserted--repeatedly--that "We stand with Israel."

There are multiple memes going viral with different statements from this whirlwind trip which appeared to exhaust Biden; moreover, the somewhat vague stand with Israel statement is one thing, yet some of the media outlets [decidedly not MSM] are speculating this speech could deliver clear implication of our deepening involvement.
