. . .we will have to wait and see, yet the US is entering a unipolar world--no longer the world's only reigning superpower.

Make preparations for Internet kill switch or grid outages as this could devolve into US satellites being blinded, major naval battles in multiple theaters, and even hypersonic conventional missile attacks--hopefully not strategic nuclear--around the world.
