Being a kid--that was the most thrilling--yet the 1993 SpringBreak quake about 40-miles south of Portland, OR, Loma Perata (1989) was felt in real time while living just east of mid-town Sacramento, and that 7+ in the Seattle Sound (Feb 2001) reached into Hillsboro, OR.
